Cally Gardens and Specialist Plant Centre is a treasure trove of exotic and rare hardy plants, gathered from around the globe, and is a must see for plant lovers.

The 18th century walls shelter over 5000 rare plants, all hand selected from their natural habitat by famous plant collector, Michael Wickenden.  After Michael's death the gardens closed for a few year but reopened in 2018 under the ownership of another plant hunter (and ecologist), Kevin Hughes.

This lecture is free and is open to non-members of the LHS.
