Tree Identification

A full day course led by Letta Jones at Holehird Gardens, Patterdale Road, Windermere, LA23 1NP.

Join Letta Jones, lecturer in horticulture and the history of gardens for a day of tree identification using examples from Holehird and looking at specimens in the garden..

Letta ran an excellent Tree Identification course here in 2024.  Members have previously enjoyed one on Herbs and a Zoom lecture on the history of Chelsea Physic Garden where she guides. Letta is a Landscape Horticulturist, has a Master’s Degree in the History of Medicine and has lectured at Birkbeck College, University of London, for more than 15 years.

£45 for LHS members, £50 for non-members

Tea/coffee and cakes provided.  Please bring a packed lunch.
