Bertie Swainston is Head Gardener at Sizergh Castle.  He is qualified with RHS Level 3, ILM Level 3 in Leadership and Management, a Distinction-graded RBGE Certificate in Herbology and RHS Master of Horticulture degree.  He has a big passion for horticulture and promoting the sector to a wider audience.  He is especially interested in herbs and alpines.

Bertie will talk about the development of the garden at Sizergh Castle.

This lecture is free and is open to non-members of the LHS.  Please note the venue.   Public lectures are now held at Holehird Gardens, and not at the Marchesi Centre, Windermere, as in previous years.
