The Winter interest borders full of colour and scent from January to March from the hamamelis, viburnum, rhododendron and hellebores

The Purdom bed, named after one of the early plant hunters with connections with Holehird

The Winter and Summer heather beds

The spectacular Davidia border where the early show of hellebores is replaced in the summer and autumn by the variety of hostas growing among them.
